Cantyo Atindriyo Dannisworo

Cantyo Atindriyo Dannisworo (Dannis) is an academic staff at the Faculty of Psychology Universitas Indonesia and a Ph.D. Student at Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He was trained as an adult clinical psychologist and currently does clinical practice in several psychological clinics and NGOs, handling victims and perpetrators of intimate partner violence and other clinical problems. His interest is mainly in gender, intimate partner violence, anger dysregulation, and men’s issues. That interest brought him to teach Clinical Psychology, Adult Psychopathology, Psychology of Gender, Theories of Personality, and Intervention Methods at Universitas Indonesia.

Currently, he is working on a Ph.D. project about how the “justification of violence” from both perpetrators and victims plays a part in maintaining the violent relationship and how it affects social support. He is also part of the Relationship Laboratory at the Behavioural Science Institute, Radboud University Nijmegen.
