Lecturer in Biology, UMass Amherst

I am an ecologist who uses field, laboratory and greenhouse experiments to elucidate the factors that impact both plant and insect population and communities. I also help faculty design transformative courses where students develop the skills necessary for critical evaluation of complex issues, creative thinking, the ability to collect, analyze and interpret data, the ability to collaboratively work with diverse teams, to explain scientific issues from multiple perspectives, and to communicate clearly and effectively.
