Visiting Assistant Professor of Black American Studies, University of Delaware

Carl Suddler (Ph.D., history, Indiana University) is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Black American Studies at the University of Delaware. Author of the forthcoming, Presumed a Criminal (under contract).

Suddler's research and teaching interests include African American history; twentieth-century U.S. history; urban history; histories of crime and punishment; the carceral state; sport history; histories of childhood and youth.
