Carolyn Wilson-Nash

Lecturer, Marketing and Retail, Stirling Management School, University of Stirling

I completed my PhD from Durham University in 2014 before undertaking a KTP in Digital Health and a Research Associate position for an Innovate UK funded product on FMCG. I am currently a Lecturer at the University of Stirling where I teach Research Methods, Text Analytics and Digital Marketing. My overarching research focus is on the adoption of technology by consumers. I have investigated innovation in digital technology, webpages, mobile applications and FMCG; and adoption by older adults, patients with long term conditions and in palliative care. My recent publications have explored whether technology can relieve the loneliness felt by older adults as well as how older adults develop coping strategies to use everyday devices.
