Research assistant, University of Technology Sydney

Catherine is a researcher and social scientist who was awarded a PhD from The University of Sydney in 2017. Her thesis examined the role that online communities play in the lives of new Italian migrants to Australia.

Since completing her PhD, Catherine has been employed as the research officer at a not-for-profit organisation which helps the frail aged and younger people with disabilities access amenities and participate in community life. She is also involved in an ARC Linkage project entitled Local Government and Housing in Australia for the 21st Century.
