Cecilia A. Green

Associate Professor of Sociology, Syracuse University

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the Maxwell School, Syracuse University. I have authored over two dozen peer-reviewed academic articles and book chapters as well as a number of research reports, one of which was converted to a book, published in the Caribbean. I specialize in Caribbean political economy, Caribbean women's history, theoretical approaches to colonialism and postcolonialism, and I have conducted research on the new Chinese presence (state and private entrepreneurial immigrants) in the Anglophone Caribbean, which has resulted in three peer-reviewed articles and one book chapter.
