Cecilia Yejide Ojemaye

Dr Cecilia Yejide Ojemaye bagged her PhD at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. She obtained her B.Sc. Chemistry from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2009. In 2015, she completed her M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Her research interest is in the area of analytical, environmental, food and medicinal chemistry, currently her research focuses on the monitoring, identification and quantification of contaminants of emerging concerns in different environmental matrices. She has contributed to knowledge by the publication of 10 articles in quality journals and press release as well as 5 presentations in conferences and workshop. She worked in the industry for 7 years as a Senior Laboratory Analyst and she is also a member of the South Africa Chemical Institute (SACI) and Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA).
