Charles Gillott

Charles is a PhD student at The University of Sheffield's Department of Civil and Structural Engineering, and works with The Grantham Centre of Sustainable Futures to take a multi-disciplinary approach to climate change mitigation.

His work focuses on decarbonisation of the built environment, particularly through resource efficiency and circular economy strategies. In particular, his PhD studies focus on space provision through the adaptation and vertical extension of existing buildings.
