Charles Lawrie

Charlie is pursuing a PhD in International Relations at the University of Sussex. His doctoral research examines the role of fuel in the Lebanese economy. He holds degrees in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and in Middle Eastern Studies from Cambridge University. Charlie has worked for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Inter Mediate, and Triangle, a Lebanese think tank.
