Consultant Public Health Physician, University of Lagos

I am a Consultant Public Health physician(FMCPH, MWACP), an IPC Consultant and an expert in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology. I have a Master’s degree in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology from Eu2P - Universite de Bordeaux with specialization from Erasmus Medical Center Netherlands; Master’s in Public Health as well as Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Lagos Nigeria. I have experience and Certificate trainings in Implementation research; Leadership and management in health, and Quality of Medical products and Global Health. I am currently the Co-lead West Africa for International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology Africa Chapter (ISPE-Africa).
I have over 13 years of experience working closely with diverse stakeholders from the community, government institutions, bilateral/multilateral organizations in the field of public health.
I describe myself as a quality improvement (QI) enthusiast as I have a default interest in patient safety, access to safe and quality medical products - (Medicines and global health) and health worker safety, patient safety and quality health services delivery - (Infection prevention and control - IPC).

I am passionate about research especially - HIV/AIDS, pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology, maternal health medicines(uterotonics), safe and quality medicines including vaccines and IPC.
