Professor Chris Leishman is Professor of Property and Housing Economics, University of South Australia. He is an editor of the Urban Studies Journal, past editor-in-chief of the Housing Studies journal. He is a non-executive director of Housing Choices Australia, a member of the Treasury's Centre for Population expert advisory group, and a member of AURIN's Scientific Advisory Committee. He is a co-investigator on the UK's ESRC funded Housing Evidence Centre (CaCHE), for which he leads the 'understanding housing markets' theme.
