Dr Christina Heris is a Research Fellow with the Tobacco Free Program as part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Program within ANU's National Centre for Epidemiology and Public Health. She currently works in the areas of trauma-informed public health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tobacco control, with special interests in adolescent health and health communication. Christina completed her PhD looking at the prevention of smoking uptake among Aboriginal adolescents with the University of Melbourne Indigenous Epidemiology and Health unit and has a public sector background working on state and national social marketing health campaigns.
