Christine Broughan

Co-Director, Age Research Centre, Coventry University

Christine Brougham is Co-Director of the Age Research Centre and Head of Applied Research at Student Services at Coventry University. The multidisciplinary Age Research Centre, established in 2012, is a hub for an extensive range of activities on age and ageing undertaken in and by different Faculties, Schools and Departments.

Research is focused into five main areas: workplace, retirement and pensions; the healthcare crisis; housing and the built environment; assistive technologies and care and support in the home. At its heart is a commitment by staff to promote longevity as an asset in the workplace, education, politics, family and wider community.
