Christopher John Chandler

Chris Chandler is Programme Leader for Film and Television at the University of Hertfordshire, where he teaches industry and business skills. Prior to joining the University, he was a consultant in film policy, strategy and finance working for clients such as Arts Council England, Screen Agency Wales, BAFTA and Creative England. Publications include Opening Our Eyes: How film contributes to the culture of the UK, and Understanding Our Audiences: Audience Research for Film Hub Wales. He has a background in policy and strategy, having worked for the UK Film Council and British Film Institute. Prior to that, he worked as a venue manager, cinema projectionist and lighting designer.
