Christopher Krupenye

Assistant Professor of Psychology, Johns Hopkins University

I study the minds and mental lives of humans and other animals, with a special focus on the psychological capacities that allow us to navigate a complex social world. By studying humans' closest relatives, chimpanzees and bonobos, my work aims to identify shared capacities that were likely present millions of years ago in our common evolutionary ancestors - and well as features of the human mind that make us unique.
