Dr Christopher Malone is an Honorary Associate of the Department of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Sydney. His research interests revolve around Roman imperial government, culture, and religion in Late Antiquity, and he is currently writing a book about the importance of military metaphors in late Roman administration.
