I am generally interested in the evolution and ecological implications of animal behaviour. My research interests and projects are diverse, but the common themes are often related to understanding how organisms obtain, communicate, and use information in their environments.

Some of my recent research projects include avian ontogeny and function of vocal duetting, social learning and avian cognition, spatial ecology and juvenile behaviour, avian vocal learning, and the function of mobbing alarm calls.
