Claire Wilmot

I am PhD candidate at the London School of Economics researching the relationship between justice systems and structural inequality.

I also work as a research officer on the UKRI GCRF Gender, Justice & Security Hub at the LSE. Previously I worked as a research officer at the University of Toronto's Global Justice Lab, where I worked with government officials and civil society organisations on applied research projects related to justice reform strategies in Canada, the United States, Nigeria, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan.

My freelance journalism and other writing has appeared in the Guardian, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Toronto Star, the International Peace Institute, and the Atlantic.
