Clementine Fujimura

I am a Professor of Anthropology and Senior Advisor to the Area Studies Program at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. My research focuses on Russian popular and youth culture, military culture and best practices in developing cross-cultural competence in the military and higher education. I study marginalized communities and prejudice formation.

I have published on the subjects of the cultural construction of childhood, aging and veteran stigmatization, LGBTQ+ people in the military and Russia’s homeless children.
