Lecturer in Politics, University of Aberdeen

Craig did his PhD at University of Strathclyde. His thesis examined how Plaid Cymru and the SNP have adapted to changed opportunity structures created by devolution in the UK, focusing specifically on how the two parties have reconciled their identities as autonomist parties with governmental status and how they have reformed their organisational structures in order to be more electorally competitive. Before arriving at Aberdeen, he was a research fellow at the University of Stirling where he worked on a project looking at how Scotland could become more gender equal. Craig is a Fellow at the Centre on Constitutional Change.
