Cristina Guijarro-Clarke

I have undertaken a PhD at the University of Essex, studying the evolution of animals. I am a bioinformatician, so all my analyses are computer based. I redeveloped a Comparative genomics pipeline designed by my PhD supervisor Dr Jordi Paps and used it to look into the gene repertoire of each animal phylum, mine datasets for gene trees and infer whole genome phylogenies.
