Dallas J. Baker is a Lecturer in Editing & Publishing at University of Southern Queensland.

Dallas is the author of the serial fantasy fiction/publishing experiment Waycaller (www.waycaller.com)

Dallas is also the founding and now managing editor of Polari Journal, an international, peer-reviewed queer Creative Writing journal. He is currently Assistant Editor, Special Issues, of TEXT: Journal of Writing and Writing Courses, a peak journal in the Creative Writing discipline.

Dallas is a creative writer with work published in a wide range of journals and anthologies. In the 1980s, under the influence of 80s post-punk synth pop, he began writing under the nom de plume Dallas Angguish, and still does from time to time.

Dallas' current research interests are editing and publishing, memory and memoir, masculinity, scriptwriting and Creative Writing pedagogy.
