Daniel Elphick is a Teaching Fellow in Music at Royal Holloway, University of London, lecturing on music analysis, aesthetics, and music(s) post-1900. He completed his PhD at the University of Manchester, with a thesis analysing the String Quartets of Mieczysław Weinberg. His research interests include critical theory, popular music studies, and Russian/Soviet Culture.
