Professional Experience:
Author of 3 books - Race, Racism and Sports Journalism (2012), Sport, Racism and Social Media (2014), British Asians, Exclusion and the Football Industry (2016). Author of several journal articles exploring 'race' and racism in sport, media and social media. Contributed a number of online articles to anti-racist organisations and campaign groups, e.g. Kick It Out, The Zesh Rehman Foundation. Published freelance work featured in the Sunderland Echo, Evening Chronicle and Telegraph and Argus. Founder of annual Sport and Discrimination Conference and creator of inclusion event, the Coach Education Masterclass. Areas of interest, unsurprisingly, include 'race', racism, sport and social media.
