I obtained a Master of Population Studies and a Bachelor of Community and Development Studies (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I currently work as a lecturer in the Community Development discipline at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and I do research consultancy work. My research interests include population health, migration and public budgeting. I recently published an article in Agenda journal titled 'A Gender Mainstreaming Approach to South Africa’s Budget Response to COVID-19'.
