I contribute to the core postgraduate taught MSc programmes in Sustainable Aquaculture, Aquatic Pathobiology and Veterinary studies in both the Production systems and Reproduction and Genetics modules of the course and have developed new learning materials suitable for Distance learning format for both.

I also organise and manage a workshop for the BSc module AQU915 Managing Living Aquatic resources. I coordinate the Livelihoods and Aquatic Resource Management advanced module of the postgraduate taught MSc programme in Sustainable aquaculture. The course uses a case study approach to build capacity for participatory research and development and enhance skills in teamwork and communication.

Responsibility for design, proposal and delivery of the Postgraduate programme in Aquatic Resource Development currently delivered to part-time students in Bangladesh and piloting of the programme in Vietnam with local institutions in both countries.

Personally developed 4 modules with inputs into many others, day-to-day supervision/mentoring of staff involved both in the UK and Bangladesh.

Interest in interdisciplinarity and societal uptake of research has been a continuous theme from the UK Research Councils funded project (RELU) assessing potential
