Honorary Associate Professor of Literature, University of Sydney

David Brooks, a poet, novelist and essayist, taught Australian Literature at the University of Sydney where he also directed the Postgraduate Writing Program. He was co-editor of the journal Southerly 1999-2018. His work has been widely translated, and shortlisted for numerous major literary awards.
