Dr David Hall is a Senior Researcher with The Policy Observatory, AUT. He has a D.Phil in Politics from the University of Oxford and B.A. in Geography from the University of Otago. His research interests cover political philosophy, public policy, environmental policy and migration. His forthcoming edited collection, A Careful Revolution, examines the politics of the low-emissions transition in Aotearoa New Zealand. He has also been involved in designing the Trees That Count initiative, establishing a Climate Innovation Lab, and leading AUT's Living Laboratories project which creates ecological restoration sites as nature-based solutions to climate change.
