Professor of Global-Change Ecology, University of the Sunshine Coast

Professor Dave Schoeman is a quantitative ecologist whose research focuses on identifying and quantifying ecological consequences of climate change at scales from the very local to global, and on designing climate-smart conservation strategies to associated impacts. He served as a Coordinating Lead Author for the ocean and coastal chapter of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report and as a Review Editor on the IPCC Special Report on Oceans and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate (SROCC). Dave's teaching interests include numerical ecology and biostatistics.
