Deborah Hersh is Professor in Speech Pathology at the Curtin School of Allied Health, Curtin University in Western Australia. She is a certified practising speech pathologist, a Fellow of Speech Pathology Australia, and current Chairperson of the Australian Aphasia Association. She has worked in the United Kingdom and Australia in various clinical, teaching and research contexts, publishing and presenting her research extensively. Deborah’s research uses a range of qualitative methodologies and includes exploring the rehabilitation and healthcare experiences of people with communication disorders and their families.
