Diane de Saint Léger

Languages and Linguistics, The University of Melbourne

Diane de Saint Léger is lecturer in French Studies at the University of Melbourne. She initiated the “Somewhere in France – Australians on the Western front” exhibition project as part of an ongoing teaching and research collaboration between Melbourne University Archives and French Studies. Her research interests focus on language use and identity construction in texts. In the context of the Great War, the representation of self and other in trench magazines is of particular interest.
