Dr. Diep Nguyen is the HDR Coordinator and a Lecturer at the School of Business and Law, Edith Cowan University, Australia. Prior to this appointment, she was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. While being employed at Edith Cowan University, Dr. Nguyen was awarded in Excellence in Research by an Emerging Scholar Award at the School of Business and Law and Career Highlight as an Early-Career Researcher (Research Focused Scholar) by the Early and Mid-Career Researcher Networking Committee at Edith Cowan University in 2019.

Diep completed her Master of Commerce (Honours) from the Western Sydney University in 2012. Her master thesis was about the exploration of HR roles of HR departments in Vietnamese organisations. She completed her PhD at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand in 2016 as the recipient of the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship from 2013-2016. Her PhD thesis was about evolvement and development of human resource management in Vietnam. Her research has appeared in International Journal of Hospitality Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Public Management Review, Australian Journal of Public Administration, Personnel Review, Journal of General Management and New Zealand Journal of Employment Relations. She is currently researching Strategic HRM, workplace behaviours including workplace bullying, incivility and employee wellbeing in public sectors in Vietnam.
