Dominic Abrams FBA, FAcSS is Professor of Social Psychology and Director of the Centre for the Study of Group Processes at the University of Kent. Former president of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues and vice president of the British Academy, his research focuses on social inclusion, cohesion, prejudice and discrimination within and between groups. He is academic lead for the British Academy's Covid & Society work and co-chair of the BA/Nuffield Foundation Understanding Communities programme.
