Dong-Xu Liu

Currently I am Associate Professor of oncology and Director of the Centre for Biomedical and Chemical Sciences, School of Science, the Auckland University of Technology. I am also the founding President of the NZ Association of Breast Cancer Research.

My research interests include breast cancer biology, growth hormone signalling, oncogenes and molecular therapeutics. My laboratory currently focuses on the identification of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for breast cancer, and the development of therapeutic agents that target specific growth factors or molecules involved in cancer growth and progression.
