My primary research interest is the economic and social impacts of legalized gambling (particularly casino gambling), which I have been studying since 1996. I have published two books, and more than 40 articles and book chapters on these issues. My most recent book is Casinonomics: The socioeconomic impacts of the casino industry (2013).
