Edward Saul is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers with a wide experience of bridge design and infrastructure management.
As Group Engineer and Principal Engineer for design teams at Atkins and Mouchel, he has led the design of short, medium and long span bridges and their associated infrastructure and has a comprehensive understanding of modern design codes such as the Eurocodes.
He has prepared and managed contracts for clients and has acted as Project Manager (NEC) and Engineer's Representative (ICE) on various bridge and highway infrastructure schemes.
Edward Saul is a recognised expert in his field having been called to provide formal expert evidence as a bridge engineer at tribunals including Public Inquiry.
Edward now lectures and undertakes research at Liverpool John Moores University on a part-time basis and has an interest in Smart Structures, Structural Health Monitoring and Advanced Manufacturing Technology.
