Eira Winrow is a Health Economics PhD Research Student at the Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Research (CHEME) at Bangor University. Eira's PhD study explores the relationship between poor housing and poor health, and evaluates the cost and effectiveness of housing improvements.

Eira came back into education as a mature student in 2010 and has a degree in Health & Social Care and Social Policy, and a Masters degree in Policy Research & Evaluation. Her interests include social housing, health and social inequality, and public health.
