I am an archaeologist and heritage scholar based at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. My approach to understanding the past is through 'Community Archaeology.' Through this strategy, I consider indigenous ideas and knowledge about the landscape to be potential in reconfiguring archaeological concepts and practices.
