Assistant Professor in Comparative Cognition and Evolutionary Psychology, National University of Singapore

My research explores the nuances that allowed for the selection of complex cognitive abilities in humans by investigating a wide array of different species from the Primate, Dermoptera, and Scadentia orders. Alongside this, my research also investigates the convergent evolution of intelligence by exploring the cognition of different species and taxa such as corvids, hornbills, and dolphins.
