Elielson Pereira da Silva

Doutorando, Desenvolvimento Socioambiental, Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA)

Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Amazon (2011), master's degree in Natural Resource Management and Local Development in the Amazon, at the Environment Center of the Federal University of Pará (PPGEDAM / NUMA / UFPA), and a doctoral student in Sciences: Social and Environmental Development, at Center for High Amazon Studies (PPGDSTU / NAEA / UFPA). In the doctorate he develops the research entitled Necrosaber and veridição regimes: bioeconomic governmentality of palm oil agribusiness in Brazil and Colombia, currently doing academic exchange at the Instituto de Estudios Regionales (INER), at the Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia. He was Regional Superintendent of the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA) in the State of Pará, from 2008 to 2013; he served as Regional Advisor to the National Confederation of Agricultural Workers (CONTAG) in the Nortel region, between June 2015 and December 2016. He is also a researcher for the New Social Cartography of the Amazon Project - PNCSA
