Elizabeth Gilbert

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Medical University of South Carolina

I study how people make sense of their worlds and make decisions. I am particularly interested in reasoning about causation and blame, analogical reasoning, and how reasoning strategies differ across cultures. I also keep an eye towards how this research can inform the legal system and help treat trauma and addiction.
