Elizabeth Percival

I completed my postgraduate training in Paediatrics at John Hunter Children's Hospital in Newcastle and Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, being awarded my FRACP in 2015. I have subsequently commenced a PhD in Paediatric Allergy, with the University of Newcastle, Australia.

I am a Staff Specialist General Paediatrician at John Hunter Children's Hospital in Newcastle, Australia and have a conjoint appointment with the University of Newcastle, providing education to postgraduate paediatric trainees and undergraduate medical students.

I am also an instructor with the Australian Paediatric Life Support group, providing education and training to postgraduate medical and nursing professionals across Australia.

My research interest is in paediatric food allergy, where I am currently investigating novel diagnostic techniques for peanut allergy and eosinophilic oesophagitis.
