Senior Lecturer in Critical Social Psychology, University of Brighton

I use qualitative methods, primarily critical discursive psychology, to explore issues around identity, citizenship, health and gender. My PhD research explored contemporary constructions of happiness and wellbeing through a dual analysis of self-help books and interview data. Previous research has included participatory work with lived-experience researchers to explore the role of arts in mental health.
