Emma Buxton-Namisnyk

Lecturer in Law, School of Law, Society and Criminology, UNSW Sydney

I am a Lecturer in the School of Law, Society and Criminology at UNSW. I am a member of the Indigenous Law Centre (where I was previously a Senior Research Associate) and the Centre for Crime, Law and Justice. I recently completed my DPhil at the University of Oxford, where I have been a Clarendon scholar since 2016. I worked on the Family is Culture Review into Aboriginal Children in Out of Home Care between 2018-2019 and on the NSW Domestic Violence Death Review Team from 2012 - 2021.
