I'm a historian and senior lecturer of the History of the British Empire at the University of Sheffield. I completed my PhD at UCL in 2010, have published one book (Missionary Discourses of Difference: negotiating otherness in the British Empire, c. 1840-1900), and about 8 peer-review articles. I am currently working on a new project about Disability in the British Empire and am keen to contribute to the Coversation about this subject as I want to reach a wider audience than th
