Eugenio Giorgianni

PhD student in Music, Royal Holloway University of London

Eugenio Giorgianni is an anthropologist and filmmaker. His doctoral research (Music Department at Royal Holloway, University of London) examines the musical language of Congolese migrants and the international circulation of Congolese music, through a participatory video ethnography focused on the realization of collaborative video clips. He has previously conducted visual anthropological researches on music, migration and urban spaces in Melilla and Granada (Spain), Goma (The Democratic Republic of the Congo), Palermo (Italy) and Manchester (UK).
