Farshid Felfelani

Postdoctoral Fellow at National Center for Atmospheric Research, National Center for Atmospheric Research

Dr. Felfelani is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Research Applications Laboratory at NCAR. His research seeks to advance our understanding of hydrology-human-climate interactions in response to the combined effects of human activities and climate change by improving the representation of coupled natural-human hydrologic systems in Land Models. In particular, using models to address the global issues associated with quantity and quality of terrestrial water systems under climate change and socio-economic impacts constitute the foundation of his research. He has published in high-impact journals including Nature Climate Change, Water Resources Research, Geophysical Research Letter, Journal of Hydrology, and Hydrological Sciences Journal.
