I am currently a PhD researcher at Queen Mary University London researching the role of African militaries in global health. I am also a Senior Research Associate with the Conflict and Health Research Group at King’s College London. From 2014-2019, I was a Teaching Fellow at the King’s Centre for Global Health and Health Partnerships and at the Royal Society of Medicine, where I ran the global health programme. My research interests include health communications and civil-military relations in crisis settings. I have a background in media and public broadcasting (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) and am on the Advisory Board of the Global Health Film initiative.
