Research Director and Senior Lecturer (Food Systems), University of Technology Sydney

Federico is an interdisciplinary social science researcher working in sustainability and international development. He currently is a Research Director and Senior Lecturer in Food Systems at the Institute for Sustainable Futures, University of Technology Sydney. Federico specialises in systems thinking and the social sciences, and his focus is on supporting integrative research and development food systems projects. Federico is currently leading work into the integration of biophysical and socio-economic knowledge to support different types of food systems transformations. Working in collaborative teams and across different contexts in Australia and Pacific countries, he conducts research into the theory and practice of food systems change an institutional and community levels.
