Frédéric Bastien

I have a Phd in history and international politics from the Graduate School of International Studies in Geneva and I am a history professor at Dawson College in Montreal.

I have recently written The Battle of London: Trudeau, Thatcher and the Fight for Canada’s Constitution, which recounts the unlikely collusion between Pierre Trudeau and Margaret Thatcher to achieve full independence for Canada in the 1980s.
